Abstract

Transverse thoracic muscle plane block (TTPB) is a novel fascial plane block (FPB) intended to provide efficient analgesia in patients undergoing median thoracotomy. This review aims to describe the anatomy, procedural approach, and clinical implementation of TTPB, thereby providing a new perspective on enhancing recovery after cardiac surgery (ERACS).
