ABSTRACT

Biochar is a new type of environmental functional material. It has become a research hotspot in the fields of environmental science and other fields because of its excellent ecological and environmental effects. The composition and basic characteristics of biochar are introduced, and the application of biochar in the environmental field is explained. This paper discusses and looks forward to the current research status of biochar in the environmental field at home and abroad, summarizes the existing problems and deficiencies in the field of biochar research, and provides some new ideas for future research on biochar.
